Virtual Multichamber Speed Networking Event

Description

Even if you can't meet in person, that doesn't mean business - or the need to build relationships - stops. In fact, without the natural interactions that go along with in-person work and events, it's even more important to be proactive in your networking efforts.

Join us via Zoom for a relaxed but structured virtual networking session with professionals from Melrose and the surrounding towns. We will open the event with a brief welcome and guest speaker about perfecting your elevator pitch. Check back for specifics.

These events have been drawing close to 75 people - so it's a great way to expand your network and have some fun via Zoom. After the event, you will receive the complete list of attendees, their company information and their email address to make additional connections.

In this dynamic and interactive online workshop, you’ll learn and practice three key ways to use your Elevator Pitch effectively at virtual events.

Our natural and conversational approach will open up more opportunities to meet the right people, strengthen relationships, follow up effectively, and expand your referral network.

We’ll break into smaller discussion groups to strengthen our connections with each other in a virtual environment.

You’ll also learn advanced techniques you can use immediately to start business conversations, discover relevant connections, and inspire people to call you.

About Our Speaker:

Andrew Winig is the Elevator Pitch Coach. He has been offering virtual workshops since 2007, and in 2019 found the key technology for recreating his interactive and energizing in-person workshops online. Now, even during a pandemic, participants learn and practice skills they can use immediately to get better results from virtual business networking. People share his book, the “Elevator Pitch Handbook: The Step-by-Step Guide to Starting Conversations” with their business partners, spouses, and even their kids. Here's how it works:

When you arrive online you will first be greeted by our Chamber Directors.
You will then be placed in a random online breakout room with 6 or 7 other people. (This number may vary depending on the total number of attendees.)
Each person will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the breakout room with a mix of professional and personal information.
If time allows, the room moderator will propose a discussion question for the remaining time
After an allotted amount of time, attendees will be switched, randomly, to another breakout room for further introductions.
