Join us for the Chamber's 2020 Annual Meeting and Mayor's Breakfast featuring key note speaker from the City of Melrose, Mayor Paul Brodeur. Breakfast refreshments will be available thanks to our host, Chamber member Rising Eagle Publick House as you network with new Chamber members, hear about plans for Melrose and cast your vote for the 2020 Chamber Board of Directors.

About the Election of the 2020 Chamber Board of Directors:

Additional names of candidates for officers and directors can be nominated by petition, bearing the signatures of at least ten (10) members of the Chamber. Such petitions will be filed with the Chamber's Executive Director, Lauren Grymek, at least ten (10) days prior to the Annual Meeting. The names of all valid nominees will then be presented at the Annual Meeting. Please contact Lauren Grymek at lauren@melrosechamber.org or 781-665-3033 with any questions.

About Mayor Paul Brodeur:

Mayor Paul Brodeur was elected Mayor of Melrose and took office in November 2019.

Paul began his legal career in public service as an Assistant District Attorney in the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. Subsequently, he spent eight years as an enforcement attorney in Massachusetts Securities Division, where he protected Massachusetts investors from financial fraud. Paul later served as counsel for the Executive Office of Elder Affairs, where his achievements included improving elder protective services and promoting independence for seniors. He served on the Melrose Board of Aldermen (now the City Council) for nine years, including one term as President. There he was able to build consensus and set a legislative agenda focused on sustainable growth and fiscal responsibility. Continuing reading here.
